University of Pennsylvania College Hall West Wing Renovation Project received an Outstanding Preservation Award from the University City Historical Society.
Clemens is honored to have been a part of this historic transformation!
Originally built in 1872, this landmark structure houses the President’s and Provost’s offices, Admissions, and the Department of History. The project included significant exterior restoration—replacement of the iconic serpentine stone cladding, structural consolidation of the underlying field stone walls, roofing repairs, and the replacement/restoration of 344 historic monumental windows. Inside, the full West Wing renovation introduced upgraded MEP/FP systems, new classrooms, offices, conference rooms, a graduate lounge, restored stairwells, new elevators, and custom millwork.
