Clemens provided construction management services for the fitout of the new Giant grocery store at the busy corner of Broad and Spring Garden streets. The 50,700 sf retail space anchors the new 500,000 sf LVL North apartment building.
The 50,700 sf Giant grocery store features concrete polished floors, natural wood tones, high ceilings, wide aisles and exposed mechanicals. Inside the store there is a Starbucks, sushi counter, and a beer and wine selection with slushie options. The store features a mix of gourmet and basic goods customized to appeal to Philadelphia consumers with a shelf featuring hoagie condiments, and a pasta, cheese and olive oil display curated by Italian Market favorite Claudio's. Customers can park in the underground parking garage and enter the store via escalator or elevator.
